Error : FSPRO.lic is not supported

Symptom

When trying to activate FS Pro 2013, you get the following error:

At start of FS Pro 2013 the following problem has occurred. The file C:\Program Files (x86)\Information Mapping\FS Pro 5.0\Data\fspro.lic is not supported.

Solution

Proceed as follows to resolve this issue:

Step Action

 Exit Word.

Download the fspro.lic file.

 Navigate to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Information Mapping\FS Pro 5.0\Data

Replace the fspro.lic file with the one you downloaded in step 2.

Start FS Pro.

Result: You will be prompted to activate your copy of FS Pro.
