Error: Could not load file or assembly Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word – Information Mapping Help Center

Symptom

You get the error message Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word' when starting FS Pro 2013.

Visual Studio Tools for Office may not have been installed while installing FS Pro 2013.

Proceed as follows to resolve this issue:

Step	Action
1	Download Visual Studio Tools for Office for 32-bit windows, or for 64-bit Windows
2	Install Visual Studio Tools for Office
3	Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Information Mapping\FS Pro 5.0 double-click on InformationMapping.FSPro.Word.vsto, and click Install. Result: The Microsoft Office Customization required for FS Pro 2013 is installed.
4	Start Word. Result: You will see the FS Pro 2013 menu in Word.
