How do I activate FS Pro 2013 online?

Before you begin

You must have already downloaded and installed the FS Pro 2013 software.

Note: You must have admin rights to do the installation. Admin rights are not required for activation.

To activate an FS Pro 2013 license online (the best choice) you must be on a computer with an active internet connection (otherwise, you must activate via e-mail).

Activation is per user

FS Pro 2013 is installed and activated on a per-user basis. You must be logged in as the end-user (not a separate IT/admin login) to complete activation. 

Procedure

Follow the steps in the table below to activate a license online.

Start FS Pro 2013 or attach it to your document in Assisted Mode or Expert Mode.

Result: the window Activation of FS Pro 2013 appears.

  • Select the I have a License Key and I want to activate FS Pro 2013 radio button, and
  • click Next.

Result: The How do you want to activate the product? screen appears.

  • Select the Online Activation radio button, and
  • click Next.

Result: The Please enter the activation data screen appears.

  • Complete the required fields, and
  • click Next.

Result: The Online Activation screen appears.

  • Make sure you have a valid Internet connection
    (Rationale: To process the activation, data has to be sent to the Activation Server), and
  • click Next.

Result: FS Pro 2013 is activated successfully.
