Symptoms
When attaching FS Pro to a document, you get the following error (or a similar error):
Error Occurred in 'Enable FS Pro'
Message: retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSIS [59A7F5D7-3E69-4FEE-99A0-0A92F6D17285] failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).
Solution
Proceed as follows to resolve this error:

Exit Word/FS Pro. |

Run the Windows Task Manager to make sure there are no "LicProtector...exe" tasks running. Kill them if so. |

Go to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Information Mapping\FS Pro 5.0\ folder. |

Double-click the file Register License Protector.bat to run it. Type any key to close the cmd-prompt window that appears. |

Start FS Pro again. |
