Summary
This article explains how to update FS Pro to the latest version when you are
- an end user, or
- an adminnistrator
Updating FS Pro as an end user
To get the latest update to FS Pro 2013
- choose Help > Update Now in the FS Pro 2013 ribbon, and
- click Update.
Tip: You need administrator rights to install the update. If you don't have administrator rights, please involve your administrator and use the procedure below "Updating FS Pro as an administrator".
Updating FS Pro as an administrator
As an administrator, you can log in to the user's PC, give the user local admin rights, and install the update as described above.
You may also prefer to uninstall the current version of FS Pro and reinstall the latest version for your users. In that case, proceed as follows:

Download the latest MSI for FS Pro 2013 and reinstall FS Pro 2013. Note: Do not activate FS Pro yet, since you will overwrite the fspro.lic file in the next step. |

Copy the file fspro.lic from the Desktop or the location where you pasted it. |

Paste fspro.lic in C:\Program Files (x86)\Information Mapping\FS Pro 5.0\Data, overwriting the file fspro.lic created during installation. |
