I don't see the FS Pro Outlook on New Email menu

Background

FS Pro Outlook is an MS Outlook add-in. When MS Outlook crashes, MS Outlook may disable the active add-ins (or ask if you want to disable them) and remove the FS Pro Outlook option from the "New Email" message tab.

Please do not uninstall/reinstall FS Pro for this issue as this is probably not necessary.

Enable the FS Pro Outlook add-in in MS Outlook

Open MS Outlook, select File and then Options.

Click Ribbon File Tab

Click Options

From the Options screen click Add-Ins in the left menu.

Click Add-ins

Note: The list of add-ins is separated into three sections - Active, Inactive and Disabled.

Is FS Pro Outlook is in the list of Disabled Application Add-ins (near the bottom)?

Select Disabled Items

  • If yes, follow the steps below:
    • Select Disabled Items from the Manage dropdown list
    • Click Go...
    • Highlight the "...Information Mapping..." entry in the Disabled Items dialog, and
    • Click Enable, then click Close.
  • If no, move to the next step.

 

Result: The FS Pro Outlook options should be in the New Email menu again.

If FS Pro Outlook is present in Inactive Application Add-ins,

  • go to Manage, and
  • select Go. (See image below)

  • Select FS Pro Outlook.
  • Select OK.

 

Result: The FS Pro Outlook options should be in the New Email menu again.
