What's new in FS Pro for Word 8.2.0.9
Enhancements:
- Topic See Page Default Selection (711): Improved the default selection behaviour in the Topic See Page update flow to make population choices clearer and more reliable.
- Microsoft Login Option (Auth73): Added a “Login with Microsoft” button to support Microsoft-based authentication.
- Full and Simplified Ribbon Toggle (728/726): Added the new Simplified Ribbon and introduced an option to toggle between the Full and Simplified Ribbon layouts.
- Performance Improvements (723): Improved application performance and responsiveness across FS Pro
- Topic See Page Option Removal (710): Removed the “Don’t show this screen again / always use Map Titles” checkbox from the Update Options dialog to prevent users from being locked into an irreversible document-level setting.
Fixes:
- Style Manager Bullet Spacing (716): Fixed inconsistent “Space after Bullet” behaviour in Style Manager → List so spacing now scales correctly with the selected point value.
- Blank Document Display Issue (721): Resolved an issue where some FS Pro documents could open as blank while the Outline Pane and FS Pro functionality remained available. Documents now display correctly without requiring users to remove a block as a workaround.
- Duplicate Outline Pane After Word Crash (722): Improved an issue where an orphaned Outline Pane could remain after Word crashed or closed abnormally, causing two panes to appear when opening another document.
